02 / Her story
Nancy, in her own light
Noted by the house
- 170 cm, curvy
- Long golden blonde hair, blue eyes
- Swimming and road trips
- Sushi lover
- Sunny, energetic, English speaking
Her laugh is what you notice first, bright and generous, the kind that makes people at the next table smile without knowing why. Then the golden blonde hair, then the blue eyes, and by that point Nancy has already asked you three questions about your trip and remembered every single answer, including the name of the colleague you complained about. She is, quite simply, a very good audience, and an even better storyteller once it is her turn.
Nancy is 30 and curvy, 170 cm of sunshine, and she carries golden-hour beach glamour even through a grey Amsterdam drizzle, as if she has just come in from the coast with salt still in her hair. Sunny, energetic and easygoing, she makes plans feel effortless and changes of plan feel like small adventures. There is no pretence in her at all, which is precisely what makes her such easy company after a formal day.
Swimming keeps her grounded. Most mornings begin with laps, and she talks about open water with a real longing, the lakes in summer, the sea whenever she can reach it. Road trips are her favourite way to travel, windows down along the Dutch coast or further south through France, with a mental list of roadside cafés worth every detour. Sushi is her comfort food and she takes it very seriously indeed, so ask about it only if you have time for a proper answer involving rice temperature and the art of the perfect cut.
She is based in Oud-Zuid, close to the green paths of the Vondelpark, and she brings that open-air ease to hotels right across the city, from the museum quarter to the flickering red reflections along the oldest canals. Violetta shares her love of the water, and Thea would happily join any conversation about Japanese food.
