Schiphol hotels fall into three groups. A few stand right beside the terminal, a short walk from Schiphol Plaza. A larger circle sits in the business parks around the airport, linked by shuttle buses. A further group lies in the surrounding towns, chiefly Hoofddorp, Badhoevedorp and Schiphol-Rijk, which are popular with conference and business guests. At night those business parks can look very alike, so the exact hotel name and address matter more here than anywhere in the city.

One rule no agency can bend: a companion can only reach the public, landside parts of the airport. Anywhere beyond passport control or security is closed to people without a boarding pass, so the booking has to take place at a hotel outside the secure zone. If you are in transit, make sure you are able to leave the airport before you message us.

From the city, the run to Schiphol takes around thirty minutes by road or by the frequent trains from Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Zuid. Include her preparation time and the total is longer than a booking inside the ring, so we ask for a little extra notice. When your flight leaves early, tell us the departure time as well as the hour you would like company. We suggest a booking length that leaves room for sleep, packing and the walk to check-in. Late arrivals work too: send your landing time and we plan an arrival that allows for passport control, baggage and the shuttle to your hotel, so she is not waiting in a lobby while you are still at the carousel.

Few places are as used to arrivals at odd hours as an airport hotel, which makes them among the most discreet places to meet. Their lobbies are full of people with somewhere else to be, suitcases roll in at all hours, and a well dressed woman arriving at midnight is simply one more traveller.
